Naughty Delight -Posts are upset in C $ 140,000 Oss Gold Leg 4

Milton, op – Naughty Delight came from the pace of the pace and passed four horses in the play to post a 7-1 upset in the only C $ 140,000 Ontario Sires Gold Leg 4 event for 2-year-old Pacing fillings on Friday (August 29) in Woodbine Moawk Park.

STAUGHTY Delight (James MacDonald) was the last in the field of six until just before the three-quarters (James Macdonald) came to the top of the piece and came home to: 26.3 to win with half a length of Jen Tilly (Louis-Philippe Roy) in a career-beast 1: 51.

It was the first career that Gold Triumph for the daughter of Bettor’s Delight from pleasant but bad and it was at the expense of triple Gold Series Champ a Clean Deal, which finished third, followed by Pownal Bay Bobbi (Jody Jamieson) and Th Check Me Out (Tyler Borth).

“I told some of my friends after her first qualification I thought [Naughty Delight] Was the best I went with, “MacDonald told Woodbine broadcaster John Rallis.” She really became steppy and used to make breaks, and [trainer] Tony [Beaton’s] I did an incredible work, because early in the year I thought, “Will this be a whole year thing, where I can’t really control her?” And I had to race her much early from the pace. But it pays late, because she has a big final kick, and she likes to go through horses, of course.

“She’s just gets a little better every time. She wasn’t perfect, but you know, we are in the gold circle of the winner, so we can’t complain too much.”

Naughty Delight paid $ 16.10 for the victory.

Naughty Delight now has a record of 2-1-2 in five starts and wins of $ 126,678.

Bred by Winbak Farm, Naughty Delight was bought for $ 40,000 USs on the Lexington Selected Yearling Sale and is owned by Beaton or Waterdown, together with David Mercer from Westmount, NS and Tim Hayes from Midway, KY.

A clean deal won the opening Gold event in the division on July 4, the second stage on July 17 and the third stage on August 14, all in Woodbine Mohawk Park.
