Nate Diaz – “I’m ready to get back into real action”

I’m not surprised. Nate Diaz is rumored to be returning to action at the age of 40 after three and a half years away from MMA action. The Stockton native is a big name and could be the guy who will have big eyes on the promotion in the Paramount+ era.

The TUF season five winner revealed three names he would like to face, and two of the three on his hit list would certainly get fans excited.

Speak with TMZNate Diaz outlined who he wants to fight on his return to action. When asked about Jake Paul, Diaz gave respect to his former boxing opponent, noting how he does his thing and pointing out that he fought Anthony Joshua.

Speaking about what’s next, Diaz stated that he “ready to get back to workHe also explained who he could face upon his return to the octagon, saying:I want to fight McGregor 3. I might want to fight Dustin Poirier, when he stops being so ap**sy, and then maybe Mike Perry. We will see what happens in the future.”

Diaz had a legendary two-fight series with Conor McGregor, shocking the world, winning their first fight on short notice, only to narrowly lose a rematch. The trilogy fight is the fight that many fans have gotten away with, and with McGregor having been retired for a number of years and himself hinting at a return, this could make a lot of sense.

The fight with Dustin Poirier could be fun too. Like Diaz, Poirier has retired from professional action. However, the two would meet at UFC 230. The diamond had to withdraw from the fight due to a hip injury. The two men constantly attack each other on social media, and the fight has fans on the edge of their seats.
