‘My information …’ – Chief Football Reporter outlines what it can ‘take’ for Liverpool to sign Isak

Alexander Isak may have made it harder for himself to get his wish from a relocation from Newcastle to Liverpool.

That seems to be the suggestion of a prominent journalist who has treated the Saga all summer, with the soap opera that explodes in recent days.

Last Tuesday, the striker published a statement on social media in which he claimed that his club did not comply with ‘promises’ about his future, in which Chiefs of St James’ that was contrary to being’ not a dedication ‘to allow the Sweden International to leave Tyneside.

What has Craig Hope said about Isak and Newcastle?

Craig Hope, main football reporter with the Daily Mail, appeared on the Sunday supplement At Sky Sports this morning, and he hinted that Newcastle seems less likely a few days ago to sell Isak after the public tit-by-tat, especially if they fail to bring in their own attacking reinforcements.

The journalist said in the show (Via x): “I have said this all the time I don’t think negotiating the reimbursement will be a problem. Will it be as high as £ 150 million? It can be with add-ons, but my information is somewhere around £ 130 million+ mark might enough to do this.

“Now, what I will say is, prior to the explanation, there is a pavement of the determination under the hierarchy for Isak not to go. On the back it may take a little more to convince Newcastle if they get those two strikers.”

Newcastle digs over Isak, but still time for Liverpool to jump

Hope has previously repeated that the Magpies will almost certainly not sell Isak unless they first strengthen their own attack, and the Tyneside Club had a second bid for Yoane Wissa this week (Sky Sports).

The journalist indicated today (Via x) That the side of Eddie Howe is still ‘trying’ the Brentford star, but ‘very unlikely’ to sign two strikers between now and the Deadline of 1 September.

The challenge of Newcastle to hold their top scorer last season is understandable and will be reinforced by recent events, but even that they would even think long and hard about things like Liverpool in the coming days with an offer of £ 130 million or more.

Does the manager want a player who is clearly unhappy in the club to spread a negative influence in the dressing room on Tyneside? Could the Park -Hierarchy of St James fear that the value of Isak could decrease in the coming months if it is not re -integrated into the team or will fall?

There are only eight days left in the transfer window, so FSG will have to act with considerable rush if they have to get a deal in that time frame, but it is still time enough for this long -term saga to deliver a determining twist …
