If you can come up with a membership program, I have tried. Circle, Skool, Clickfunnels Thinkific, Thrivecart, Kajabi, Thrive Apprentice … you name it.
The last one on my list was the new child in the block, completely. I was not so interested in Whop because I have an irrational aversion to Discord. I know … I’m weird for that.
However, it became clear that the public preferred one of my companies (a resale community of Amazon FBA), so it was necessary to try it at least.
Here is everything you need to know …
What is Whop?
Wrop is an all-in-one marketplace and platform for selling and hosting digital products, services and memberships.
It is a free tool (you only pay for transaction costs and only market reference committees) that replaces expensive tools such as Skool, Circle, Clickfunnels and a litany of others.
Whoes is designed to help makers earn their communities, software, courses and digital offers via a single, integrated platform.
It is really an “everything in one” solution. The only argument is that it really replaces all tools well enough or not (more about it).
What distinguishes itself is the focus on bundling various digital products together, so that makers can offer extensive packages to their customers.
The platform has already processed more than a billion dollar of transactions and serves millions of users, making it an important player in the space of the Creator Economy.
Set up our watch: First impressions
Working on Whop was actually quite simple.
The first set -up process only lasted a few minutes and I fell with things to get everything else right. However, it was never difficult at any time. The platform was clean and the interface was intuitive.
From other platforms, the user interface immediately noticed as modern and well -designed.
The platform offers a pre -built destination page template that is optimized for conversions – so there is no need for individual tools such as clickfunnels or Squarespace.
The standard styles look nice, but all look the same (which is not a big problem).
However, if you want to use other tools, you can. You can send traffic to your checkout page or integrate Whop with Zapier (I don’t recommend that).
We send traffic to our website on oachallenge.com/plus and then send them from their Whop -Checkout page.
This alone can save makers a lot of time and money on the website and the design of the website.
Key whop that impressed me
Here are the biggest things that impressed me about Whoop
#1 A deep catalog of “Apps”
One of the striking functions of Whop is the extensive app marketplace. You can add apps to your whop with just a few clicks, essentially building your own adapted software suite. Some of the apps that I found particularly useful include:
- Course -app: Full video hosting included (no expensive solutions from third parties such as Wendia)
- Community app: More fascinating than traditional communities in forum style
- Calendar bookings: Perfect for service -based companies and consultations
- Prices -App: Gamification by daily prize wheels
- Challenges app: Create premiums and money rewards for community involvement
- Help desk: Built -in Ticketing System for Customer Support
#2 Premium payment processing and dispute management
After I had had to deal with the headache of payment processor in the past, I was pleasantly surprised by the approach of Whop. Because payment processing is their core business model, they have built robust systems that:
- Move money quickly (not a long zernis)
- Offer an excellent dispute resolution
- Offer flexible payment options (subscriptions, one -off, weekly, crypto, financing)
- Treat automatic VAT taxes and currencies
The transaction costs of 3% plus processing costs are competitive, especially given that all functions are included.
#3 built -in partner program
Each whop comes with an integrated affiliate program system. This is a game changer for scaling companies, because it enables customers to earn committees for references. The system includes:
- Adjustable committee structures
- Content folders for affiliated companies
- Tracking and analysis
- Automated payouts
What I like about it
Excellency of mobile apps: The mobile experience is fantastic – everything works seamlessly on phones, which is crucial because many users mainly have access to content via mobile. However, it is not only the customer experience. As a Whop owner I can manage almost everything I need, from the inside the Whop Mobile App. The only thing I really need to use desktop is the editing of the sales pages.
Partner Payment System: The possibility to easily pay partners and affiliated companies is something that is often complicated on other platforms. For example, if I wanted to send my administrator $ 500, I can do that and it just comes from my whop balance.
Custom payment options: In contrast to Skool, you may make multiple price strokes and flexible payment structures possible.
Dispute management: Their built -in dispute resolution is professional and effective.
Exposure to the Marktplaats: Once accepted, you will receive free exposure via the Whop market, which receives more than 2 million views every week. You do pay a committee payment
Areas for improvement
Limited course functions: If your primary focus is course content, the WHOP’s course app is simple. You can upload videos and add text, but it fogs advanced course building functions. For extensive course delivery you may need to supplement a supplement to Discord or other tools.
Limitations of sales pages: Although functional, the options for adjusting the sales page are somewhat limited. I came across small glitches, as is unable to remove my maker profile from the sales page.
Platform perception: Some of the best performing whops on the market may seem doubtful, which can influence the general credibility perception of the platform.
Hope vs. the competition
Let’s compare the only other two programs that I recommend for the same type of services. Circle and Skool
Hope vs. skool
- Win wins: Payment flexibility, app -eco system, affiliate programs, mobile experience
- Skool wins: Course -oriented functions, community discussion format
- Best for: WHOE is better for various digital products; Skool is better for educational -oriented communities with minimal needs to adjust something (no promotion codes, no custom tests, etc.)
Hope versus circle
- Win wins: Payment processing, functions for generating income, app integrations
- Circle wins: Community Management -Functions, Adjustment options
- Best for: Where for income -oriented communities; Circle for engagement-oriented communities
Who should use Whop?
Whoe is ideal for makers who:
- Wants to make money
- Sales Software, Apps or Digital Tools
- Must bundle multiple digital products
- Give priority to mobile-first experiences
- Wants integrated payment processing and affiliated management
- Prefer prices for income from the hand than monthly costs
Whoe is not ideal as:
- Your primary focus is extensive course delivery
- You need extensive adjustment options
- You prefer traditional communities in forum style
- You want to host your platform yourself

Bottom line: choose Hurl For bundled convenience and faster time-to-value; to elect Streak When scale and adapted architecture weigh heavier than the bundle.

Final verdict
After I have tested it thoroughly, I can say with confidence that this is the best platform I used to earn various digital offers, especially if your audience is discord-native. The combination of excellence of payments, mobile optimization and the app ecosystem creates a powerful basis for building scalable online companies.
Although it is not perfect for every use case – especially course -heavy companies – excels in what it is designed to do: helping makers to bundle, sell and deliver digital products efficiently.
The rapid growth of the platform (processing more than $ 700 million in transactions) and a strong team culture suggest that they are just going to work. For makers who want to consolidate their technical stack and concentrate on generating income instead of platform management, you deserve serious consideration.
Assessment: 4.7/5
