For everyone who was interested in something else, I thought I would share some photos of a recent trip to Germany. I took my wife and children to Hamburg and Munich for about 2 weeks and managed to fit some car between the sightseeing. I grabbed an M340 car from Sixt Rentals for the week. Although it is not huge in the United States, Sixt is especially great in Munich and has everything, from basic consumers to the entire M and P-Car lines to Aston Martins. As a nice start to the trip, there is a bright orange M4 greeting passengers while you go to the exit of the airport.
Then I grabbed my Dravit Gray car at the airport and gave the children a quick explosion on the Autobahn for a quick math lesson about converting KPH to MPH.
Then we drove south to visit the Neuschwanstein castle, which is definitely a must in Bavaria
Then we went to the BMW Welt and Museum and we were allowed to view some great classics and some “forbidden fruit” for us Americans.
Unlike that, we just had a great time to enjoy the Bavarian “Gemütlich” (good life). Enjoy a lot of good beer, nice weather and delicious food.
Finally, in what is probably no surprise, Munich is a great city for spotting
All in all a great journey, and something that I highly recommend if you can do it. If someone has questions about traveling to Germany, I am far from an expert, but would like to answer them.
