Tuesday, October 28 – Manitoba 2, Tucson 0
Manitoba snapped their five-game losing streak with a 2-0 victory over the Roadrunners, as Thomas Milic earned his first shutout of the season by putting aside 26 shots.
Samuel Fagemo scored the eventual game-winner on the power play in the second period, while Jaret Anderson-Dolan sealed the two points with an empty-net goal late in the third period. Manitoba defeated Tucson by a wild margin of 51-26.
Wednesday, October 29 – Manitoba 4, Tucson 3
These two clubs got right back to work the next evening. The Moose trailed 1-0 after the first frame, but Anderson-Dolan tied the score midway through the second.
Tucson regained the lead on a power-play count from Cameron Hebig, but Manitoba responded less than two minutes later with a shorthanded goal from Phillip Di Giuseppe.
Early in the third inning, Kale Clague hit a point shot on the power play to give Manitoba its first lead of the evening at 3-2. Moments later, captain Mason Shaw scored his first of the season to extend the lead to 4-2.

Hebig struck again late in the power play to bring Tucson within one, and the tension went through the roof when Walker Duehr missed an empty Tucson net on a breakaway with just over a minute left. Luckily, the Moose held on for a 4-3 victory. Domenic DiVincentiis made 29 saves in the win.
Sunday, November 2 – Texas 2, Manitoba 1 (OT)
The Moose looked to extend their winning streak to three games as they began a four-game set with the Texas Stars as Texas looked for their first win of the season.
Both teams had chances early, but the first period ended scoreless.
Texas opened the scoring 4:36 into the second period, with Samu Tuomaala notching his first of the season.
Just under five minutes into the final frame, Clague leveled the match at 1-1 with his second goal in as many games, unleashing a blast from the blue line that neatly beat Stars goalkeeper Remi Poirier.
Manitoba got a four-minute power play late in regulation but could not convert, sending the game into overtime. It took just 30 seconds for the Stars to end it, as Artem Shlaine scored the game winner.
Milic made 23 stops in the loss, and Manitoba still managed to extend their points streak to four games with the overtime result.
Monday, November 3 – Texas 3, Manitoba 0
The Moose faced Texas the next night in a rematch at the Canada Life Center, hoping to extend their points streak to four games and get back in the win column.
Manitoba generated solid attacking looks in the first period but were unable to capitalize as both teams were still deadlocked at 0-0 after 20 minutes.
Texas broke through late in the second inning and Ayrton Martino scored his first of the season to give the Stars a 1-0 lead, identical to Sunday’s game after two periods.
With 10:01 left in the third, Cameron Hughes doubled the Star’s lead on the power play by firing a shot past DiVincentiis’ glove. Despite numerous chances in the final frame, Manitoba could not solve Poirier, and Shlaine sealed the victory with an empty-netter for his third goal of the season.
Texas held on for a 3-0 win, handing Manitoba their second straight home loss and ending their four-game winning streak.
“I thought we had a good push and a lot of chances in the third period,” Danny Zhilkin said after the loss. “But in the end we lost the match and didn’t score any goals, so we weren’t good enough.”
The four-game series between the Moose and Stars now shifts to Texas for games on November 7 and 8.
