Los Angeles Dodgers -star Mookie Betts believes that the battle for the NL West with the San Diego Padres will help the team in October.

In a conversation on his podcast, Betts spoke with Will Smith about the tight Divisierace in the midst of the last regular season series by Dodgers against the Padres this weekend.
“I appreciate this a bit because it forces us to play the entire season,” Betts said at B/R Walk-off. “I remember my first few years that we won the division with weeks left in the season.
“But now with tied up in the division, it will help us in the long term.”
The Dodgers have won the division every year for ten years, with the exception of 2021 when the San Francisco Giants wore the NL -Kroon. That season, the Dodgers made a first round of exit in the play-offs.

The Dodgers have not been able to produce in the matchup so far, and it is the costs of the management in the division. The Padres are only in the first place in NL West and want to sweep the defensive champions this weekend.
It is still to be seen whether the tight Divisierace De Dodgers will benefit in October, but La will certainly have to match the intensity of the Padres in the last regular season matchup between the two NL West rivals with the first place on the line.
