Luckily, the man closest to the vehicle takes a split second to react before dropping his bike and stepping aside.
Moments later, the enormous bus crashes into a metal fence with enormous force.
Without the cyclist’s quick reactions, he would almost certainly have been brutally crushed.
The stunning scenes were filmed outside the Mother Dairy branch on the Etawah-Mainpuri road in Etawah town, Uttar Pradesh.
Local media reported that there were about 40 passengers on board at the time of the crash, nearly a dozen of whom were seriously injured.
Camera images show that the collision took place on Sunday.
It is unclear whether the man riding the motorcycle was hit or not.
The bus – which may have hit the cyclist’s friend out of frame – came to a screeching halt when it crashed into the building.
Eyewitnesses said a car driving in front of the bus suddenly slammed on its brakes shortly before the clip.
This prompted the bus driver to quickly swerve and crash into the wall.
Bystanders claimed the driver lost control while trying to avoid the car, causing the carriage to crash into the dairy store.
Emergency services quickly arrived on the scene after being alerted to the location of the impact.
The injured were rushed to Saifai Medical University for treatment.
Authorities seized the bus and launched an investigation.
According to local media, preliminary findings reportedly point to negligence and excessive speed.
