This is the moment that the “drug driver” that caused chaos in a “Rampage” on the Liverpool parade on Monday, dragged out of his car by the police.
65 people, including four children, were injured in the horrible scenes, who saw a gray Ford Galaxy plowing through huge crowds at the Premier League Victory Parade of the football club.
The 53-year-old male driver from West Derby, Liverpool, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, suspicion of driving while it is unsuitable by drugs and dangerous driving violations.
Images shows the moment when two agents dragged the driver out of his car, after he finally came to a halt in the middle of the parade.
Heroic fans were shown by the car while they tried to slow it down after the scores were injured in the “Rampage”.
Gruesome images also show a number of people on the floor around the car, while emergency staff desperately tried to help the wounded.
Many fans also took matters into their own hands, and helped to save that hurt by the car, so that the space for paramedics and the police cleaned up the driver.
Images then also see the moment that the police, supposed to be the director, in a police bus, is supposed to be the driver.
The driver is currently being held and interrogated by the MerseSide police on suspicion of attempted murder and drugs.
The police of Merseyside confirmed reports yesterday that the car followed an ambulance in the parade, after a roadblock was temporarily lifted so that paramedics could help a man who had undergone a suspected heart attack.
Assistant -head commissioner Jenny Sims explained on Tuesday in an update that eleven people stayed in the hospital, although they were all in a stable state and seemed to recover well.
The police clarified that the incident was not dealt with as terrorism during a press conference.
Images from a store showed the car that only spent two minutes through the crowd of supporters before accelerated through the street.
It was slowly filmed by Dale Street by groups that did not know, including children – before the water went into street.
The horrible scenes took place shortly after 6 pm on Monday in the heart of the city of Merseyside.
Detective head inspector Karen Jaunddrill explained that the police “made considerable progress” in their investigation.
She said: “My thoughts are injured in everyone in this terrible incident, their families and friends and everyone who is affected.
“Just like us, many of you will still come to terms with what a harrowing end was a holiday.
“I want to reassure the public of Merseyside that investigators make significant progress when determining the full circumstances that led to this terrible incident and bring the person responsible to justice.”
Figures in the United Kingdom shared their shock over the horrible scenes, where the king said he was “deeply sad” by the crash during the title parade.
He added: “I know that the power of the community spirit for which your city is known will be a comfort and support for people in need.”
The prince and princess of Wales also said they were “deeply sad” on Monday by the scenes.
William, who is the patron of the football club, and his wife Kate said in a personal message on social media: “What should have been a joyful party, ended with tragedy.
“Our thoughts are with those who were injured and for the first responds and emergency services on the spot. W&C”
Liverpool -Helden Kenny Dalglish and Jurgen Klopp also led to those who were imprisoned in the carnage of the Paradedag yesterday.
In a message from support to fans Anfield Ace Sir Kenny, who won titles as a player and manager, the Club Song of Volkslied said, you will never walk alone, “you never felt suitable again”.
In a statement he said: “Shocked, shocked and deeply sad about what happened at the end of the parade. Our thoughts and prayers go to everyone and their families who have been affected.
“Our national anthem has never felt suitable again, you will never walk alone. Your Liverpool family is behind you.”
Former manager Klopp, who won the title in 2020, flew from Germany for Monday’s parade.
