The MMA world has reacted to the snooze-fest between Rizvan Kuniev and Jailton Almeida at UFC Vegas 113.
Earlier tonight, both fighters had a largely uneventful match. Kuniev and Almeida took turns controlling the cling and were repeatedly separated by the ref. Meanwhile, the crowd was also cheering. This pattern continued for most of the three rounds.
However, with just 10 seconds left in the final stanza, the Russian fighter invited ‘Malhadinho’ to stand in the center of the canvas and pound. The Brazilian accepted the challenge, but neither fighter could land anything significant.
After 15 minutes of hardly any action, Rizvan Kuniev earned a unanimous decision victory (30-27, 30-27, 29-28).
Fans and the MMA community were not happy with the lack of action this heavy matter. The reactions poured in on social media.
