The Milwaukee Brewers have been the biggest surprise of the 2025 season and separate from the rest of the competition with an incredible record of 73-44.

The Bewers have won nine in a row, have an MLB-High Plus-132 Run differential and its owners of the best record in baseball with no fewer than five games. Since 1 June the Brewers have been an MLB-Beste 42-16.

Elsewhere around the competition, the Los Angeles Dodgers took two of the three from the Toronto Blue Jays, but showed their mistakes in Sunday’s series.

The San Diego Padres continue to gain ground on LA, and focuses on what an incredible six games will be in 10 days between the teams in the next two weeks.

In the American League, the New York Yankees will continue to fall and have lost seven of nine games since the Handelsdeadline. The Blue Jays have emerged as the best team of the Al, but the Detroit Tigers, Houston Astros and Seattle Mariners are not far behind.
