After a management disaster almost across the board by everyone involved in the competition and the event resulted in the teams starting a competition after a rain slowdown of more than 2 hours to still not be able to complete the 1st inning, the teams will try again today. The first pitch is planned at 1 p.m. and the game will be on Fox again.
Start setups
Where we start today
Last night the game was stopped in the second half of the 1st inning. Cincinnati had just put together three straight singles against Austin Cox and took a 1-0 lead. At that time, the site was called on the field to try to put it dry a little quickly to record the puddles on the Infield, but it was still raining heavily and was a waste of everyone’s time. After about 15 minutes of failed efforts, they decided to pull the sail and shortly thereafter – finally – decided that they would not play anymore on Saturday evening.
When the game goes back to work today, the Reds Elly de la Cruz on Second and Austin Hays first have one out. Cincinnati will send Brent Ster to De Heuvel for the top of the 2nd inning.
