Arsenal -Manager Mikel Arteta seemed to focus a cunning excavation on Real Madrid while discussing the future of William Saliba in the Emirates Stadium.
It now seems that Saliba agreed a new arsenal contract, and Arteta seemed absolutely very happy with the situation in his press conference today.
The French International is a world -class performer since breaking in the Gunners side in the 2022/23 season, and it would have been completely understandable if Real Madrid made a serious attempt to sign him.
Still, when he was asked about the rumors of interest from Spain, Arteta simply made it clear that Saliba always assured him that he wanted to stay in Arsenal.

William Saliba contract is great news for Arsenal
After other recent new deals for star names such as Gabriel Magalhaes, Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri, it is certainly a big boost for Arsenal to have tied Saliba.
The 24-year-old looks like someone who could certainly start a club in the world, and he will be important for Arsenal for many years to come.
In addition to Gabriel in Central Defense, he has been one of the most instrumental members of this team, because they have become so much more solider in the back than many years.
It was not so long ago that AFC was considered a bit of a soft touch at the back, but now there are not many teams that they can break down, and although much of it will be on the coaching methods of Arteta, it is also of vital importance to have the right players.
Saliba is also young enough that he can still continue to improve, so no wonder that Arteta looked so happy with this news.
