“Yes, Conor is well done with the company,” Perry told MMA Fighting as he promoted the DBX 3 event on Friday in Miami. ‘I am very happy that I was involved and brought him in the ring in April [2023]And to fight him so that he can get back in the ring … and I understand it because I didn’t get into a fight.
“Jeremy said:” Oh, that’s why he wasn’t booked because they can’t get the right fight. Nobody wants to accept the fight, the right people do not want to accept or whatever. “But once I was really dug in and came very hard on my diet, I mean, they told me the whole year I was going to fight, but maybe I did not commit myself well, and I just feel with good faith, I wanted to be my best myself, regardless of the competition.
“Once I stood in line and I did that for a few weeks, the calls just came, and then we were booked, and to fight Conor would be incredible because I know he is getting the itch, and I know he is very busy and he has put himself in a great place in life where he doesn’t have to fight. But you can see the wish he has.”
