A lot of racing promotion took place in the Middle Atlantic last week.
Here is a look at the “three stars” of each song:
Regions best

First Star: Regaled. In the past in the Midden-Atlantic Ocean, Regaled returned to the region on Sunday for the DELAWARE PARK function race, the Delaware Handicap. She gathered from the last to win with 6 1/4 lengths that had disappeared before her first effort victory. However, she was no stranger to Stakes Company, and was, however, second or third in six Invenraces, including the Delaware Oaks on 71-1 last year. Earlier campaign conducted by owner Brittnee Caballero and trainer Sam Davis, she was purchased by current owners Ribbie Farms and Front Page Equestrian LLC for $ 300,000 at the INGLIS Digital US Sale in May and transferred to trainer Walden. She ran the 1 1/8 miles of the Delcap in 1: 50.94 over a muddy track under Joseph Ramos.
Second star: Cooke Creek. One race later on Sunday, Delaware organized the Battery Park Stakes for older men, with a raised wallet of $ 200,000. Cooke Creek, who was second in the Lukas Classic last year, but since then it had been placed in four stakes, returned to the board with a victory. Jaime Rodriguez immediately put him at the leadership of the inner position and never looked back, cruising at a three-length, port-to-wire victory in 1: 50.81. It was his first effort in almost four years, after a victory in the Rocky Run Stakes 2021 on this song. He is owned by Flying P Stable and trained by Mike Maker.
Third star: Silver Slugger. The first of three Stakes races on the Sunday Card in Delaware were the Wilmington Stakes for older men at Six Furlongs. Silver Slugger improved to 7-out-12 in the year with a gate-to-wire victory through a neck. He put an opening quarter in the mud of 22.37 and a first half in 45.57. He shook a challenge from ShowStopper Copper and held the lead with a length in the play and resisted another bid from Ninja Warrior to secure the victory, which completed the distance in 1: 11.14. It is his second effort of the year, after a victory in the Rumson Stakes in Monmouth Park Last Out. He is owned by Victoria’s Ranch, trained by Juan Avila, and driven by Sonny Leon.
