Michael Page was not lucky to get a fight with one top UFC prospect.
Page has been successful under the UFC banner and goes 3-1 for the promotion. He is fresh from a unanimous decision victory at Jared Cannonier on UFC 319 in August.
“MVP” wants to go back in the Octagon again before 2025 ends. The problem is that Page does not seem to get a willing dance partner. Prior to one Totally kombat Event, Page claimed that he called for a confrontation with the unbeaten Michael Morales, but he has heard nothing back (via Mmafighting).
“I actually asked for an undefeated hunter, I just go out to everyone Michael Morales, he is like 18-0,” said Page prior to the total Kombat event that he promotes in his native England. “Again, just silence.
“I thought it would be perfect. I fight him and then I hopefully fight against the winner of Leon and Prates in the UK”
Page even said he had beaten the table to fight Carlos Prates, but the UFC buyer seemed to have different ideas.
“I said, I am happy to fight Prates, it was not a phone call, nothing. Then he suddenly has a fight. I am currently in a bit of a strange area. You can see me calling me to try something happening.”
Page believes that he is in a place where he was initially used as a gatekeeper until he started beating most of his opponents. While the former Bellator star in the United Kingdom would like to fight, he doesn’t mind compelling in advance. Page has had two fights this year and if he will only get another fight in 2026, he will end his 2025 campaign on 2-0.
