Michael Page says the best version of him will compete at UFC London on March 21

Michael Page, aka MVP, is ready to show the best version of himself when he takes on Sam Patterson at UFC London.

With a 3-1 record in the Ultimate Fighting Championship, and his only loss being a close loss to Ian Machado Garry, it’s no surprise that Michael Page is hungry to stay active and continue to prove himself at the elite level. With his wins over Kevin Holland, Sharabutdin Magomedov and Jared Cannonier, it’s not like the 38-year-old isn’t beating anyone.

Michael Page is more than likely in the twilight of his mixed martial arts career, but even if that’s the case, it still feels like he can really make noise in a number of different divisions. Unfortunately, the UFC doesn’t seem all that interested in booking him for big fights, as we can see from him being drawn against Sam Patterson at UFC London.

Unfortunately, despite that, Michael Page still plans to go there and show the world how good he is in the English capital.

Michael Page on his upcoming fight

“Again, he has a dangerous submission game. He’s also quite clumsy. He has some tough submissions that I have to be super careful with. But the problem is, can he get me on the ground? He’s going to have to be able to strike to even get to me. Can he be good enough on that day to get me, get a takedown, and then go for the submission without me putting up those gates and walls to stop him from doing that, and also the danger of him crashing into something walk?

“I respect him so much, that’s why on that day I will be the best MVP anyone has ever seen. In my eyes, I’m fighting a world champion.”
