Welterweight vet and UFC analyst Michael Chiesa will fight at home in March.
Chiesa (19-7) finds himself in one of several newly announced fights, taking on Carlston Harris on March 28, 2026 at UFC Seattle.
Winner of The Ultimate Fighter 15, The Colorado-born Chiesa fights out of nearby Spokane Valley, Washington, and grew up there.
Promotion officials announced the match on Saturday. Casey O’Neill vs. Gabriella Fernandes and Mansour Abfdul-Malik vs. Yousri Belgaroui were also announced, with the promotion also confirming the previously reported match between Marcin Tybura and Johnny Walker.
Chiesa, a former lightweight, has won his last three fights. Now 38, “Maverick” is coming off a decision victory over fellow Ultimate Fighter winner Court McGee; prior to that he had scored submission victories against Tony Ferguson and Max Griffin.
Harris, on the opposite trajectory, has lost his last two and will enter the fight looking to bounce back from a TKO stoppage at the hands of Santiago Ponzinibbio last January. Like Chiesa, Harris is now 38 and likely nearing the end of his professional fighting career.
UFC Seattle takes place on March 28, 2026 at the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington and is headlined by former middleweight champion Israel Adesanya taking on DWCS alumnus Joe Pyfer. The following match-ups have been reported for the event:
