Brandon Nimmos had rough for two days.

He spent twice on Tuesday evening in the 3-2 loss of the Mets in front of the Guardians and continued where he had gone of his four strikeouts in the game.

It is the first time the entire season that he threw back-to-back competitions six times.

The typically reliable left field player was asked on Tuesday Postgame how he feels on the record.

“Not great,” Nimmo replied.

“This is part of baseball, you have to grind through it,” he continued. “There really isn’t escaping.”

It is not only the past two games, because the Strikeouts made 11 consecutive games on Tuesday and the 16th of Nimmo’s last 17 games that he was poned at least once.

The METS attack as a whole struggled on the plate with only four hits in the loss against Cleveland.

The failures of Nimmo were especially difficult, because he walked Juan Soto twice in the scoring position, which was ultimately critical in the seventh loss of the team in eight games.

The first strikeout from Nimmo came in the first inning when Cleveland-Starter Logan all needed only four throws to turn it off and complete Nimmo with a 92.7 MPH four-sieve Fastball in the middle.

After the choice of a fellow player, his second time, Nimmo took out and left Soto Stranded on second base in the fifth inning. This time he eliminated at the fifth pitch of the battle, which was another 93 mph four-seater, right above the heart of the plate.

“He had a tough few competitions,” said Carlos Mendoza Postgame. ‘[Nimmo’s] Swing through fastballs – they do a good job to attack him. ‘

In the past four seasons, Nimmo has been a daily player for the Mets, because he missed no more than 11 games in each of the last three seasons and so far only missed four in 2025.

The 32-year-old has been reliable. As Mendoza put it, Nimmo is “one of the most consistent guys in the line -up.”

But even the most solid everyday players go through pieces when they don’t completely see the ball as they would usually do.

That is Nimmo at the moment, but he is convinced that he and the Mets will break through.

“You just keep looking away, things are not as gloomy as they seem,” said Nimmo. “You are a hit gone … I really believe in this attack and this team.”
