The laid -out winger of Manchester United Jadon Sancho has been criticized because of the way in which he started his enchantment in Aston Villa.
Former Villa man Paul Merson is clearly not impressed by what he has seen from Sancho so far and says he should stop playing so safely on the ball.
At his best during his Dortmund days in Borussia, Sancho was an exciting attacker who would take defenders with him and ride in dangerous positions.
Now, however, Sancho sees a shortage of trust, with the 25-year-old selected for criticism from Merson after such a slow start to life in Villa Park.
The expert, prescribes in his column Sports keeperAt Sancho, insisted to do more about the ball and to take more risks with his game.

“However, I don’t know what Jadon Sancho is doing right now,” said Merson.
“He doesn’t run to someone, people don’t commit it and takes no risk!
“Sancho must stop playing safely and have risks with the ball at his feet.
“If you lose the ball, no one makes it to make things happen instead of just giving it around.”
Sancho is certainly able to do better than this, as he sometimes showed during his loan period in Chelsea last season.
The former international in England was once considered an elitental talent during his time as a young person at Dortmund, but it has been a few rough years for him since he came to United.
MUFC fans will certainly be quite frustrated by the bad start of Sancho at Villa, because it seems as if it will remain difficult for the club to finally sell him permanently after a few loan spells that did not get him out of their books.
