There has been a lot of talk about the FBI investigation into the UFC’s match-fixing allegations. Do you have any ideas about this or have you heard a lot about it?

Yeah, man, when I first heard this news, I was shocked because I was watching this fight specifically. I was here last Saturday watching these fights live and I know what I saw. The other man was much bigger and he grabbed his back and tried to choke him. And then I know the commentators criticized Isaac Dulgarian.

At first I thought the criticism was unjustified, because sometimes you still make mistakes and get suffocated. So for me the submission wasn’t weird because even though I’m a wrestler I can make such simple mistakes.

But then afterwards I saw an Instagram influencer talking about this and saying how the fight was resolved. I actually commented on that too, like, shut up, what are you talking about?

There are no set fights in the UFC, like, what are you talking about? And I was very angry, like, how dare you? But after I saw that, I broke everything off, and then I was really shocked. Who knows, if it’s true or not, but even to this day I don’t believe it.

If someone asked me and offered me ten million dollars, I would never sell them fights because I love this, it’s my life. I’m a real fighter, this is our career and we don’t do this kind of nonsense.

I hope this fight isn’t resolved. And then I don’t think there are set fights in the UFC. It’s a shame, but we’ll see. We’ll all find out if it’s true or not. But yeah, so, and that’s all I have to say.
