In the engine there were more than 20 thousand euros in cash, hidden in the double of the cassone, only 90 kg of marijuana. Two 35 and 39 -year -old men – the first Romanian citizen, the second Albanian, both uncensored – were arrested by the police for accusation of detention for drug trafficking. The Blitz, scored by the Milan Mobile team, took place in Brignano Gera d’Adda, in the Bergamo area.
The operation, explained from Via Fatebenefratelli, took the end of a “targeted service in the hinterland of Bergamo”, a place where other arrests and seizures of substances had taken in recent months. It all started when the detectives noticed a car that approached a parked truck and delivered large plastic envelopes to two men and then hurried away.
Immediately afterwards the two men entered the Tir Tir trailer where they stayed for a few minutes. The control over the Tir with the Romanian plaque and the two men, a Romanian Staatsburger and an Albanian citizen, both uncensored, was then activated. The police officers who enter the trailer found the presence of the Bustone shortly before by the man on board the car and part of the pavement of the assets without screws. It immediately seemed clear that the two had access to a “Double Fund”. By dismantling all the axles of the floor, the officers found countless packages of marijuana for a total weight of around 90 kg. In addition, more than 20 thousand euros in cash in banknotes of different cuts, considered by the police officers, probable “proceeds from illegal activity” were found in the engine.
The handcuffs were taken for the two. Both are accused of detention for drug trafficking and transferred to the Bergamo prison, available to the judicial authority. The load of marijuana was seized.
