Max Holloway’s victory over UFC 318 on Dustin Poirier seems to be his only fight from 2025.
“Blessed” spoiled Poirier’s retirement and retained the BMF title with a unanimous decision victory in the main event of the recent pay-per-view event of the promotion. With the victory, the fantasy -matchmakers have thrown away a whole series of fun ideas for the next matchup of Holloway, but according to the former featherweight title holder, his next fight will probably not have been sustained in the fight because of a hand injury.

The next opponent of Topuria has not been announced. The names that seem to be in the game under the fan base for “El Matador” are Arman Tsarukyan, Paddy Pimblett and Justin Gaethje.
Holloway wonders why more people do not put his name in the conversation, especially with the name Van Gaethje in the mix, which Holloway has eliminated on cruel fashion on UFC 300.
