Aaron Pico had a fairly tumultuous UFC debut in Chicago earlier this month when he was felled with a viral spinning elbow, with a former opponent of Pico’s weighing on that match. Jeremy Kennedy offered his position about that fight for his return to Battlefield Fight League while Kennedy Competed for the BFL -Interim -Light weight title against Jeremy Henry on BFL 84 on 4 September.
Kennedy won a victory over Aaron Pico under the Bellator Banner when Pico lost shoulder injury at Bellator 286 in October 2022. When touching the UFC debut that Pico had against Lerone Murphy on UFC 319 and how that all played, said Kennedy, said Kennedy, said Kennedy, said Kennedy, said Kennedy,
“That is difficult, man. It is; you feel for a man like Aaron, you know, he does the right things and he just; he was caught with a rotating elbow, you know, during a fight he was sure. I mean, it was only a few minutes inside, so you can’t really say that.”
“But I mean, he; Congratulations on Lerone [Murphy]. You know, he has capitalized on someone who is such a forward, aggressive hunter. That is something I noticed when I was training to fight with him, everything is so, so ahead. He doesn’t really put too many things on. “
“He’s just; he doesn’t give too much respect to his opponents and that is ultimately his own worst enemy, you know, when just things come across and that is exactly what happened unfortunately. I think he will be back. He has to polish a number of things, but he has the skills and work ethics to be a champion.”
