Holloway has been praised for years for his fan-friendly style and the resume he has built in the Hall of Fame. Many believe he would be the right type of fighter to compete on the White House’s historic card.

“We’ll see what happens with the Conor thing, if Jon Jones comes back,” Holloway told Korean Zombie’s YouTube channel. “I think the card idea is cool, but there is no US champion. The only US champion there is is the ‘BMF’ title, so you look at the man. So am I going to be on the card? I have a good chance of being on it.”
Even if that were the case, Holloway admitted it’s not something he’s sure he really wants.
“But I’m not sure I really want to be there,” Holloway said. “Because I heard there’s only going to be like 5,000 people on the lawn, and across the street there’s going to be like 80,000 people watching screens and stuff. That’s cool, but those 5,000 people, I don’t know if my family could have seats there. So at the end of the day, it kind of sucks not having family members there, especially when I worked my way up so high in the UFC. I’m so used to them being really close, on the ringside and all that, and they’re just there.
Holloway’s next fight hasn’t been made official yet, but many are calling for him to have a rematch against Charles Oliveira. The two fought back in 2015, but the fight ended quickly when Oliveira suffered an injury.
