After a clutch chip, Matt Fitzpatrick defeated Rory McIlroy in a play-off at Jumeirah Golf Estates’ Earth Course to capture the DP World Tour Championship, his 10th victory on the European circuit.
The victory also ended a two-year winless drought for the 2022 US Open winner and four-time Ryder Cupper.
It’s the first win for Fitzpatrick since switching from his old gamer, a Bettinardi DASS BB1 Flow blade, to a new Bettinardi DASS BB48 Proto Mallet.
The new hammer features the unique C-Groove face that Fitzpatrick used throughout his professional career and popularized by Yes! Golf. Fitzpatrick used a Yes! Golf Tracy II from his days as a junior until 2020 when he switched to the BB1 with the same C-Groove face.

Titleist GT3 Custom Driver
GT3 – Speed-matched distance and control GT3 offers Titleist’s boldest combination of power and personalization. With a speed-tuned design that lets you fine-tune performance to your most common contact location, you can make your biggest drives even bigger while maintaining full control of flight and shaping. For players with a relatively consistent impact location, GT3 offers a precisely adjustable CG track to maximize distance and directional control. Seamless Thermoform Crown A redesigned ultra-lightweight design born from a new proprietary matrix polymer. The tunable acoustic properties of this unique composite allow Titleist engineers to achieve new material gains while maintaining our signature sound and feel. All this wrapped in a sleek look that inspires total confidence. Split Mass Construction A breakthrough in internal weighting enables longer drives and improved directional control in GT3. The adjustable CG track now sits closer to the clubface for more dynamic CG control, while additional discretionary mass is pushed to the back of the club to maintain optimal stability at impact. Advanced Aerodynamics The GT3 features a new, raised tail contour that represents a dramatic change in driver aerodynamics. This advanced shaping was previously impossible to achieve due to design limitations and results in a driver that swings faster while still offering optimal CG control.

Axles: Project

PING i240 Custom irons
The Tour-inspired i240 enhances our popular Players technology, offering extra forgiveness, along with the control, look and feel that will appeal to a wide range of skill levels. It is PING’s highest launched Players model, which gives golfers more control and the ability to consistently hit their distance numbers and stop the ball close to the hole. A new ABS badge in the true ‘cavity-back’ design is 8.5g lighter, and combined with an elastomer insert provides more weight distribution to the perimeter to increase moment of inertia in the mid and long irons. This contributes to an 11% reduction in spread. The decal and insert contribute to a more desirable sound and softer, more responsive feel from the 431 stainless steel cast head.

Titleist Vokey SM10 Raw Custom Wedge
For every shot, every lie, every course, there is a grind to suit your swing. Finding the right gravel to suit your swing and playing conditions will give you the best surface interaction, contact and hitting performance. Master craftsman Bob Vokey has spent decades creating, developing and improving his tour-proven grinds to suit players of all levels. Anyone can craft a wedge, but it takes a master to turn a piece of high-end technology into a tool for creative control. Bob’s six tour-proven grinds are designed to provide maximum creativity, versatility and consistency, all carefully developed through years of working with the best players in the world. PROGRESSIVE CENTER OF GRAVITY SM9 features a progressive Center of Gravity (CG) across the entire loft, which optimizes ball flight, accuracy and forgiveness. Using tapered top lines and varied hose lengths, the Vokey R&D team has increased the height of the center of gravity on the higher lofts, promoting lower, more controlled flight. The center of gravity is also forward of the face, resulting in a greater moment of inertia, exceptional feel and a club face that simply wants to stand straight at impact. SPIN MILLED GROOVES SM9’s patented Spin Milled grooves are carefully engineered via a new cutting process to maximize spin and durability. The process begins with sawing the face perfectly flat with a high-speed saw. Then each groove is cut individually based on loft and finish; low lofts (46°-54°) are designed with narrower, deeper grooves, while higher lofts (56°-62°) have wider, shallower grooves. Micro-grooves are individually cut between grooves, maximizing spin on part hits. A patented heat treatment is applied to the impact area that doubles the groove’s durability without affecting feel, making it the most durable groove in golf. The process is not complete until each Vokey wedge is 100% inspected for the highest quality and performance.
