Leicester suffered defeat in their last outing against Millwall away. Anything other than a win will be acceptable at home to Blackburn tomorrow night.

Blackburn are just above the relegation zone, in 21st place. Last season they finished 7th. Some may remember their performance at King Power on the final day of the season. Blackburn won 2-0 on that special promotion day.

Leicester manager Marti Cifuentes is struggling with his team building. He uses new recruits Jordan James and Aaron Ramsey. He left out Oliver Skipp and Bouba Soumare. The results are not as predicted and the precise setup appears to be far from settled.

There are a few uncertainties. Aaron Ramsey, Bobby De Cordova-Reid, Harry Souttar and Ben Nelson are all out. Louis Page and Jake Evans appear unavailable due to their participation in the U17 World Cup. Jeremy Monga is also unsure, because he did not train as much as he should this week due to illness.

We’ll see what the team will look like when the lineup is announced tomorrow.

Referee Mark Clattenburg’s assistant shouted: “Stop the game! There is a chicken on the field!” The feathered intruder – a protest against the owners of Blackburn, a poultry company – was eventually apprehended by members of both teams.
