A total of three matches will take place on the opening day, with Masudur Mukul and Aidan Seaver overseeing Zimbabwe versus Scotland, and Iknow Chabi and Cory Black taking charge of Tanzania’s historic clash against the West Indies as the African country makes its first appearance at a global ICC event.

Chabi is one of two Zimbabweans on this Emirates ICC International Panel of Umpires, joined by Forster Mutizwa, who will be in center for the first time when Australia plays Ireland on Saturday.

Graham Lloyd, who follows in the footsteps of his father David as an international referee, is part of the on-field team alongside Nitin Bathi for Japan’s first league match against Sri Lanka.

A total of 17 referees are present for the competition, along with four match referees, with Cosker being assisted by Graeme La Brooy, Neeyamur Rahul and Prakash Bhatt.
