Maserati celebrates the strengthening of its Italian heritage with two unique examples.
Maserati is one of the most historic Italian luxury car manufacturers, with well over a century of heritage behind it, including motorsport heroes and some of the most coveted and celebrated cars of all time. The GranTurismo and GranCabrio represent the latest evolution of Maserati’s decades-long legacy of grand touring masterpieces, and Maserati has officially returned production of the grand touring pair to the brand’s factory in Modena, underscoring its commitment to the rich heritage and excellence of Made in Italy.
The milestone deserves celebration, and Maserati does just that with one Maserati Meccanica Lirica event series in collaboration with Sonus faber as main partner. The events bring together Maserati’s employees, customers and the entire city of Modena to celebrate the homecoming of two of Maserati’s most important models. A major highlight of the celebration, however, will be the debut of two special one-off Maseratis and a Fuoriserie customization package.
Those two one-off Maseratis are the new Maserati GranTurismo Meccanica Lirica One-Off and the new Maserati GranCabrio Meccanica Lirica One-Off, both based on the Trofeo versions of the Gran Turismo And GranCabrio. Inspired by Modena’s famous opera house, Rosso Velluto and Oro Lirico are their exterior colors. Special 21-inch wheels, a gold trident and even a custom exhaust distinguish these unique examples from their standard counterparts. The interior combines leather, Alcantara and real wood, with commemorative badges also highlighting the special edition.
Inspired by the one-off models, Maserati has also introduced the Meccanica Lirica Pack from Fuoriserie, with many of the features and colors of the one-offs available on request, including for the fully electric Folgore variants of the cars, with the exception of the exhaust of course. With a stunning configuration, the two new examples of Maserati celebrate the production of two of Maserati’s most timeless masterpieces returning to Modena in style.
