We are all news from Le Grove’s head office (my dining table). What a summer it was. I swear, man, the haters said blogging was dead, but my word, people sent back with extremism to the typed word. The blognerds, finally again at the top.
So let’s pump some propaganda today!
Gabi (scape) goat
Gabriel Martinelli is now the scapegoat in Arsenal. Are you thinking of the upgrade in that department? A few years ago they were Mustafi and Sokratis; Now it is a 24-year-old Jurgen Klopp from when he said.
‘He is a talent of the century, he is an incredible striker. “
Striker do you say? I like that idea. We’ve enjoyed that idea for a long time. When Martinelli plays through the middle, he directs, he is powerful, he is not bad with his head and generally causes problems.
Why am I trying to solve here? Because he is a good player. He is in the Brazil from 11, Rodrgyo is not in the team. This is a man who is sometimes electrified. But he is going backwards and Arsenal is staring down the barrel of a rapidly decreasing assets … and if we are not careful, he will not have bidders for him next summer, and we will look at another disastrous marking because 1) we will never crush the value of players in the squad, which they are damaged in the squad that are damaged.
Martinelli has all the characteristics of an Arteta striker … The Liftpitch is in the front with commonplaces about all the things that the player does of the ball and at defensive moments. That is not where a player like Martinelli should be … The best attackers in world football are explained in sizzling attacking superlatives, 5 years ago you would have said …
‘Dazzling Feet, Wicked Shot, Explosive in One vs who, unpredictable, with Sanchez-like Bang Bang Magic’
What is it now?
‘There is really good in tracing, and Arteta likes that he has implemented a tactical plan well’
Sorry people, I’m just not at the bottom of that kind of explanation unless I see goals and good crosses.
About cracked
Pep G is known for winning trophies, but he is also quite famous for beating the glorousness from attacking players. The most important example of this must be Jack Grealish. A freewheel wing that would light up stadiums with entertaining football and magical moments.
He went to the city. Place the beers and late nights. He became a terribly boring player.
Arteta must ensure that he does not have those over -controlled properties about his management style. Martinelli is a victim of control, Martin Odegaard looked like this last season when his figures fell, even Gabi Jesus had all the tricks / none of the output.
What we all look at this season are two games against United and Liverpool. Both road games. And we say … that didn’t look very exciting.
Are we absolutely idiots here? Two tough road races against teams that we don’t go from. Big atmosphere. One was a victory. One was a bad luck loss.
Do we cry about two games with low margins because we use the sample size of the whole of 2025 to defeat Arteta in a season in which we are strongly opened?
Do we have to wait and see what happens if Arteta has a full team of players to choose from before we start coming up with reasons to make upset about a season that hardly started?
I would say, given the two record -breaking seasons of goals before last season, we should probably give things time.
Gyokees for Sweden vs Merino for Spain
Gyokees had a much livelier game for Sweden. He was passed on a lot, he had some shots, he stepped behind a few times and he got an assist who was actually a piece of traffic. I can’t lie, even for Sweden, against weaker opposition, he still has the same problems he has had for Arsenal. The touch is about as sensual as a massage of a goat. He’s not great on the ball. I’m not sure if he’s very creative.
Gyokees, is a box monster … and he is at his best when running in transition and when he gets space in the box. Arsenal has to find out how they get him more often in dangerous spaces. We can undoubtedly do that. We have casual makers all over the team, but they are not shooting to the Swede now.
Mikel Merino looked a bit outrageous for Spain in that left 8 -position. He is one of the best finishers in Arsenal (SAD) and he is a threat to Spain. He opened attacks, created transition moments and his late runs in the box caused nightmares for a battered Bulgaria. His game with the ball is where we need gyokeres to go up. It is not a side of Merino, but it is enough to keep things moving. He protects the ball well, he knows where his runners are, and he just does his job without hassle. Gyokers can come, but this learning curve will be steep.
Calafiori Banger
I did not view this game, but all the reports are that the Italian was back in the middle and got the game over a number of statistics.
It is also worth mentioning that Gabriel was also immense for Brazil. Their fan base has gone from saving him to now proclaiming that he is the best in his position in the world. They are right.
But … Calafiori, please, please, please stay fit.
OK, short today. View the latest member therapy session we have fallen with Matt and Jacob. It’s a good one. X
