Marketers see the importance of AEO, but many have not started | Farmer

MartechCharts regularly emphasizes data from interest in marketers and marketing activities professionals.

Marketers believe that reply motor optimization (AEO) will considerably reform the digital strategy of their organizations in the coming three years, but only 20% have started implementing AEO initiatives.

That is according to one Research conducted by Acquia and ResearchscapeThey also discovered that 50% of both small companies (fewer than 100 employees) say as large companies (10,000 employees or more) that they are not the share of their traffic by LLMS.

Other findings of the survey include:

  • 18% of the respondents have no current plans for AEO, while 23% are planning to tackle AEO.
  • 45% mention budget restrictions as the biggest barrier for adjusting an AEO strategy, following a lack of internal expertise at 40%.
  • 62% of the respondents have seen a decrease in clicking engines clicking/web traffic, whereby 39% can show the percentage of decrease.
  • 51% NOTE Personalization as the most important element of a content strategy to guarantee future success.

The online survey was conducted by Researchscape was completed from 11 to 31 July 2025. There were 516 respondents from the US and the UK
