Anyone hoping the Mavericks will shake off all memories of the controversial Luka Doncic trade will have to keep waiting.
Dallas minority owner Mark Cuban The Athletic said this on Wednesday the organization has no plans to trade Anthony Davis this offseason.
“We won’t do that. We want to try to win,” Cuban, previously the team’s majority owner, told the newspaper.

“If the Mavs are going to trade Luka, that’s one thing,” Cuban told the newspaper. “Just get a better deal. I’m still convinced that if we had gotten four unprotected number ones and Anthony Davis and Max Christie, this would be a different conversation.”
