Bruno Fernandes has insisted he is happy at Manchester United, calling a move to the Saudi Pro League an ‘impossible scenario to imagine’ in the current situation.
Fernandes was the subject of interest from Saudi sides in the summer and rejected interest from Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad to remain at Old Trafford. The 31-year-old remains a transfer target for clubs in the Middle East, but a possible move away from Manchester is not currently on his radar.
Discussing his future, Fernandes said there have been no further discussions about a possible transfer.
“I’m happy here (Manchester United). Otherwise I wouldn’t have stayed… I like to enjoy the moment,” he said in a report published by Fabrizio Romano.
“Saudi move? That’s an impossible scenario to imagine because nothing more has been discussed with me.”
Fernandes was named Manchester United Player of the Year in 2024/2025, winning the award for the fourth time, equaling a record. He has started the season again in impressive fashion despite mixed results for the Red Devils, leading the division in chances created.
