Man United is clear about their interest in Brighton -midfielder Carlos Baleba, although signing him is said easier than done. A deal seems difficult to draw in 2025, but it is not impossible.
Earlier this week it was reported that Man United is willing to continue from Baleba after the strong attitude of Brighton to their player. The Old Trafford Club cannot afford to spend great because he has already brought Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko for a combined £ 200 million and brought in without money.
However, there is a chance that Baleba can be revised later this month, but only in certain circumstances.
Man United has to sell before Carlos Baleba can be signed
According to Soccer sinsiderPete O’Rourke has revealed that man United could afford to sign Baleba this summer if they will make a number of sales in the coming weeks.
“United has already contacted intermediaries to see if there is a chance that a deal can happen. With the costs, the price tag, it seems to do a difficult deal, and for United to do it, they have to sell some players.
“They have gone out and spent greatly on those three new attackers, but they have not sold any of the ‘bomb team’. Marcus Rashford went on loan, but Garnacho, Antony, Jadon Sancho are still there, so United has to bring in money if they make more large movements in the transfer market.”
It is still to be seen whether Man United is able to load the will of Garnacho, Sancho and Antony, but given that it can lead to Baleba being brought to Old Trafford, there will be more desperate to get them out of the books.
