The Ministry of Finance has announced the retail prices of fuels for the coming week of October 16 to 22, 2025.

As previously announced, RON 95 unsubsidized petrol will remain at RM2.60 per liter for the entire month of October 2025. Malaysians with a valid driver’s license who are eligible for the Budi Madani RON 95 (Budi95) program can purchase RON 95 petrol at a subsidized rate of RM1.99 per liter with a monthly quota of 300 liters.

Moving on, the price of RON 97 petrol will reach RM3.18 per liter in the coming week, which is unchanged from last week when the price fell by three sen.

Diesel prices also remain unchanged, meaning the Euro 5 B10 and B20 blends remain at RM2.93 per litre, while Euro 5 B7, which costs 20 sen more per litre, remains at RM3.13 per litre. The retail price of diesel fuel in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan remains unchanged at RM2.15 per litre.

These prices are valid from midnight tonight until Wednesday, October 22, 2025, when the next set of fuel price updates will be announced. This is the 42nd edition of the weekly fuel price format for this year, and the 353rd in total since the format’s introduction in early 2019.
