Happy Chinese New Year, folks. It’s Wednesday, so despite the national holidays, the weekly update of fuel prices never stops, with the Ministry of Finance announcing the retail price of fuels for the coming week of February 19 to 25, 2026.
Across the board, prices have not changed from last week, and so the price of RON 95 unsubsidized petrol remains at RM2.54 per liter this week. Similarly, RON 97 petrol remains priced at RM3.10 per litre. Of course, the subsidized RON 95 fuel under the Budi Madani RON 95 (Budi95) program will remain at RM1.99 per litre. Malaysians with a valid driver’s license are eligible for the fuel with a monthly quota of 300 litres.
Meanwhile, diesel continues to cost RM2.99 per liter this week. This means that the Euro 5 B7 blend, which costs 20 sen more per litre, remains at RM3.09 per litre. The retail price of diesel fuel in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan remains unchanged at RM2.15 per liter
These prices are valid from midnight tonight until Wednesday, February 25, 2026, when the next set of fuel price updates will be announced. This is the eighth edition of the weekly fuel price format for 2026, and the 3,701st in total since the format’s introduction in early 2019.
