It’s Wednesday and that means the time has come again for the Ministry of Finance to announce the retail prices of fuels for the coming week of December 11 to 17, 2025.

In the coming week, the price for RON 95 petrol, RON 97 petrol and diesel will drop by two sen per liter. This means that RON 95 non-subsidized petrol will cost RM2.64 per litre, down from last week’s rate of RM2.66 per litre, while RON 97 petrol will cost RM3.27 per liter in the coming week.

RON 95 petrol, under the Budi Madani RON 95 (Budi95) scheme, remains unchanged at RM1.99 per litre. Malaysians with a valid driver’s license and eligible for the Budi Madani RON 95 (Budi95) program can still purchase RON 95 petrol at the subsidized rate of RM1.99 per liter, subject to a monthly quota of 300 litres.

Diesel fuels of the Euro 5 B10 and B20 blends will be priced at RM3.06 per liter in the coming week, meaning prices for the Euro 5 B7 blend, at 20 sen more per litre, will be priced at RM3.26 per litre. The retail price of diesel fuel in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan remains unchanged at RM2.15 per litre.

These prices are valid from midnight tonight until Wednesday, December 17, 2025, when the next set of fuel price updates will be announced. This is the 50th edition of the weekly fuel price format for this year, and the 361st in total since the format’s introduction in early 2019.
