The first round selection of Chicago Cubs in the Major League Baseball Draft 2022 is already an important part of the Cubs -Starting Rotation.
Cad Horton was the seventh player who was selected in that concept.
Horton received an underlot of $ 4.45 million contract from the CUBS.
Horton, a right -handed one, will be August 24, August 20.
Horton has made 16 performances for the Cubs, with 15 of them. His most recent start came on August 13, against the Toronto Blue Jays.

Horton really changed his collegial pitching experience as soon as he controlled the art of throwing both a cutter and a poor slider.
He carried those two large fields in his repertoire as a Major League world.
Even with a good arsenal, Horton experienced some regression in his speed and effectiveness after his operation in Tommy John.
In 2024, Horton experienced a subscapularis tribe in his rotatorm surchet. The Suppbscapularis is one of the four muscles that form the rotatorm surchet.
It took perseverance and hard work to bring him to getting his own confidence back, and the confidence of his pitching coaches.
But he did exactly.
Now Horton has been restored and is stated in the Major League selection and pitching in the Cubs that start rotation.
It must be remembered that Horton is still not that far from that operation by Tommy John, but his speed and pitch mix are now very solid.
Horton made his Major League debut with the Cubs on May 10, 2025, at the age of 23. He threw four innings and illuminated starter Brad Keller in the second inning. He achieved the victory in the game, delivered 4 hits and 3 earned runs. He hit five and walked one.
His slider is a plus plus pitch in its repertoire and earns a degree 70.

Horton has solid command and control, where his slider is his best pitch.
A solid repertoire and a good presence of the hill should continue to predict well for Horton, because he is an above -average starting pitcher.
The top remains for Horton, because he is only 23 years old, and will gain valuable experience in this, his first full year in the main class selection.
Health problems can be a problem for Horton, because in the past he has experienced both problems with elbow and rotatorm surchet.
For now, Cad Horton takes the ball in the rotation of the Cubs.
