Lexington, Ky. – A son of Maclean’s music sold to Alex and Joann Lieblong for $ 500,000 to post the highest price of the seventh session of Monkay of the yearling sale of September September September.

On Monday, Keeneland sold 279 yearlings through the Ring for $ 30,107,000, an increase of 19.31% compared to last year when 288 horses brought $ 25,234,000 during the seventh session. The average of $ 107,910 increased by 23.16% more than $ 87,618 in 2024. The median rose by 7.14% from $ 70,000 to $ 75,000.
Cumulatively 1,495 yearlings were sold via the Ring for $ 447,729,000, an increase of 23.80% compared to $ 361,642,000 for 1,454 horses sold in the same period last year. The average of $ 299,484 is 23.80% higher than $ 248,722 in 2024, and the median rose by 17.65% from $ 170,000 to $ 200,000.
In other Monday sales, three yearlings brought $ 475,000 each.

Kenneth McPeek, Agent/Delta Squad RCNG, BSW/CROW, Agent, paid the amount for a Colt by Candy Ride (ARG) of the family of champion Just Fyi and Grade 1 winners Star Billing, Stellar Jayne and Starrer. From the winning Giant’s Causeway Mare Screen Goddess he was sent by Hill ‘n’ Dale at Xalapa, agent.
Two Colts – a son of Waploper and a member of the first harvest of champion Epicenter – each sold for $ 475,000 to Pedro Lanz, agent for Kas Stable. The Colt by Gun Runner was sent by Taylor, from Grade 2 Winner and Sire Tom’s Ready, Sales Agency, Agent. His mother is the wrong color in the winner of the deployment, by a mologist.
With five purchases for $ 1,345,000, Pedro Lanz, agent for Kas Stable, was the leading buyer of Monday.
The Colt of Epicenter of the Mission of Eaton Sales, agent, is from the Graad 1 family winner Salty. He is from Bellucci, a winning daughter of the American Pharoah.
A foal of good magic sent by Nardelli Sales, agent, sold for $ 425,000 to Bradley Thoroughbreds. From the family of Stakes winner and grade 1 placed street girl, he is from Red Light Racer, a winning daughter of Medaglia d’Oro.
The leading sender of the day was Gainesway, who sold 27 yearlings for $ 2,935,000.
