Manchester United is all ready to separate with the head of Academy Recruitment Luke Fedorenko, according to athletics.
Andy in the middle Unveiled that Ineos wanted to keep their former Academy Chief Scout, but instead he will become a member of a large football agency.
“Luke Fedorenko from Manchester United, Luke Fedorenko, will leave the club after he has accepted an offer to work for a large football agency.
“He has been a key figure in the recruitment of Academy for nine years and helped shape the club’s youth development. MUFC wanted to keep him because he is very good, but he has accepted a new offer.”
Luke Fedorenko to leave
He initially joined the Red Devils of Sheffield United in 2017 as part of Project Bethlehem as the Academy Lead Scout for players aged 9-11 years.

Luke Fedorenko had arrived next to Nick Cox, who has since moved to Everton after a hugely successful enchantment at the club.
The ex-Barnsley Youth Star was soon promoted to the head of the local recruitment in 2021 before his final move up the ladder up to the head of the Academy recruitment.
His work at Carrington can be seen for everyone, where the Englishman played a key role when the 20-meal English competition champions saw intense competition to land Chido Obi and Ayden Heaven from Arsenal.
He also played instrumental when the club JJ Gabriel signed, the best player of the academy ever, as well as Bendito Mantato and Jayden Kamason.
Ineos wanted to keep him
Apart from the recruitment of young people, he turned the Academy recruitment process into a more data and video oriented model in line with the other top clubs throughout Europe.
The Academy has seen a lot of revolution among Ineos, in which Stephen Torpey from Brentford arrives to replace Cox.
It is interesting that the report states after the departure of Fedorenko, Torpey can now form its own staff.
“United did not want Fedorenko to leave, but his departure gives Torpey the opportunity to shape his own leadership team.”
Hopefully this will not change anything and the Academy will keep its exemplary record of producing talents for the first team.
