Wedding with Billgren #2 – Wedding dresses for every season

Louisa and Filippo Catenacci met through Tinder, but have known each other since childhood. They married in January 2025 at Stockholm City Hall.
Ceremony in the town hall – and dinner in the Opera Källaren
Tell us about the wedding!
– We wanted it to feel intimate and relaxed, so we planned many of the final details just a week in advance. The ceremony was held in the town hall with our two young children and parents. It was a day full of love and closeness, we focused on integrating our families and giving everyone time to get to know each other. After the ceremony we celebrated with a dinner in the Operakällaren in a separate room, it gave a perfect balance between a private, intimate atmosphere and the pompous feeling of the large, beautiful room next door. Since both come from large families, we are planning a larger wedding in the future.
Tell us about your look!
– I couldn’t decide which dress to wear, so I chose two! Even though it’s a small event, I think you should go all in if you feel like it. When else will you get the chance to wear two dresses on the same night? The dresses were found on Vestiaire Collective, I changed the buttons to add my own touch. The shoes were by Manolo Blahnik and I wore a discreet veil and a floral tiara. The jewelry was a mix of heirlooms and my everyday jewelry that I love – it made the look both personal and meaningful. We bought the rings the same week at Kaplan. The flowers were made by Jessica Elizabeth Lyon.
Did you have any style inspiration?
– I went from what felt to me. It was important not to feel dressed up, but to find a look that was personal, a little daring and that I could enjoy wearing all day long. Hair was done by my hairdresser Karwan at Cheveu, and magical makeup by Nathalie Berzelius.
Best tip you want to share?
– No stress! Let go of the idea that a wedding will only be a success if everything has been planned down to the last detail. Dare to do what suits you, even if it is not exactly what others had done. The most important thing is to create a loving and personal atmosphere, then the details matter less.
What was the most important?
– It was incredibly important to be able to celebrate our love with those closest to us. For us it was about avoiding stress and unnecessary pressure; the love and the moment were what really mattered.
Something you thought was important that turned out to be unimportant?
– Perfection. The details are right, what really matters is that you can enjoy the moment and the people around you. Being able to be at the center with those you love most is incredibly sweet, worth absorbing and truly appreciating.
Your best party tip?
– Dare to be spontaneous! After dinner we went unplanned to the nightclub next door. It was a nice extension of the evening into the wee hours.
Favorite moment of the wedding?
– To see our families getting to know each other and enjoying the evening together. All the speeches were so moving and the atmosphere was magical. And of course the spontaneous dance on the table with the drinks balanced on the head – it was an evening full of laughter, love and unforgettable memories.
