Former Everton striker Louis Saha has urged the Toffees to sign Jack Grealish during the summer transfer window.
Grealish was loaned from Manchester City to Everton this summer.
According to reports, an outright purchase option of £50 million has been included in the contract. Although it is believed to be negotiable to some extent.
Everton have pushed for a permanent transfer for Jack Grealish
Speaking to BOYLE Sports, Louis Saha explained why signing Jack Grealish should be top of Everton’s agenda.
He said (via Liverpool ECHO):
“Jack Grealish should be the priority.
“You can see that he enjoys football and has a bond with the players. You can see they are having fun with Iliman Ndiaye.
“The contribution he has made is enormous. Still, I don’t think they have the right striker or the right combination of strikers at the moment.”

Saha continued:
“They have a similar profile with the new signing, such as Thierno Barry. If they have a different type of forward, it will be interesting to see.
“When you look at Grealish’s smile you see a different person now.
“I would certainly urge Everton to do everything they can to give him that stability. And I think he will get it more at Everton than at Man City.”
Manchester City paid Aston Villa a hefty fee of £100 million to sign Grealish in 2021.
He struggled to play his best football in his debut season but returned with aplomb in 2022/2023. The Englishman scored five goals and provided 11 assists as the Cityzens won the Treble that season.
Fabrizio Romano: Everton have a chance to sign Grealish
Everton pulled off a surprise last summer by securing a loan move for Jack Grealish. However, signing a player with Grealish’s profile on a permanent deal is much more difficult due to the financial implications of the move.
However, transfer news expert Fabrizio Romano believes the Merseysiders have a realistic chance of signing him.

“I think it is a possibility to find a solution with Manchester City because what I have been told is that Jack Grealish has no way back at Manchester City.Romano said on the Men in Blazers podcast.
“So they believe this chapter is completely closed. And that is good news for Everton. He is very happy at Everton. So I think they have a chance to find a solution if all parties move in the same direction.”
Grealish was Player of the Month for August and marked the perfect start to his life at Everton. The 30-year-old has made 15 Premier League appearances so far, scoring two goals and providing four assists.
