LaLiga stars will be responsible for half of Europe’s best-selling football shirts by 2025, demonstrating the global reach of Spain’s top flight.
The Premier League, often hailed as the most popular football division in the world, has just one representative in the top 10.
LaLiga stars dominate the list of Europe’s best-selling football shirts
According to Score 90 (via MARCA), five of the ten best-selling football shirts in 2025 will be owned by LaLiga stars. The two biggest clubs in the division, Real Madrid and Barcelona, have shared the honours, with Atletico Madrid missing out.
The two most popular players of the 21st century, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, also made it despite not playing in Europe.

His compatriot Vinicius Junior is the next LaLiga player on the list. Real Madrid’s number 7 will have sold 992,000 shirts by 2025 and is now the most popular Brazilian player in Europe.
Kylian Mbappé has enjoyed a fantastic 2025. Mbappé is closing in on Ronaldo’s record, has won his lawsuit against Paris Saint-Germain and has the most jersey sales of any Real Madrid player.
