Looking back on the year and sharing what I will be working on in 2026.

Hello friends! How are you? I hope you’re having a great week so far. The kids are back to school, Liv’s 14th birthday is this week (HOW?!), and I’m just now starting to get my life on track. I felt so productive until we hit winter break, and I’ve been very slowly getting back into work.

I’m looking forward to getting back into a routine, to some fun things coming up, and cautiously optimistic about the new year.

Some personal highlights from 2025:

– We went to Disneyland to celebrate Liv’s birthday

– Steak with friends

– The pilot retired from the Air Force

– We celebrated Wyatt’s Bar Mitzvah

I like Carmina Burana with the symphony choir

– My brother Bailey got married!!

– In my most unhinged and successful itinerary yet, the girls and I took a European Disney cruise and spent over five weeks in Spain

– and the newest addition to our family: Lola the min goldendoodle. We are all completely in love with this sweet girl and Maisey is already loving having a little sister. She is definitely a puppy, but has a lot of energy and doesn’t bother Maisey all the time. I can tell you they are going to be best friends.

Professional summary:

From one Integrative healthcare practitioner From my point of view, this has been a year full of learnings, expansion and customer success. It was so great to see their wins, and I reviewed over 100 lab tests last year!

I was a winner of the 100 Day Challenge thanks to your incredible support (#7 out of 5,000+ practitioners!) and was invited to speak on a Health Coach Success panel with some other IHPs that I so respect and admire.

I feel so blessed every day to be aligned with EquiLife’s incredible mission and the inspiring people behind it. I can’t wait to see what CPI and EquiLife have the coming year in store!!

I hired a podcast manager and we saw 700% growth last summer, which was huge! He helped me with the show notes, editing, creating reels and full video episodes on YouTube. I took a little break over the holidays and I’m excited to get back into it with some great guests booked for this month.

I am also grateful for affiliate partners including Lumebox, Nutrisense, EquiLife, CPI, Connection, Higher DOSE, Danger coffee, Organic, One Skin, ButcherBox, Canopy, Somavedic, Air doctor, Vivarays, Vivrelle, Hydrow, We feed raw, Sculpture Society, Oliveda and to anyone who shops through my links. It directly supports our family (and helps keep this little blog going), and I really appreciate it. I also started working Ellie MD this year because I love their products!

I launched Healing Codemy new signature program, and also launched Revenue Rx as mentorship for colleagues Integrative healthcare practitioners and health coaches looking to scale their business. I also hosted my first workshop and I’m excited to do more of them in 2026; stay tuned for the details of the next one!! Our next group program, DetoxU, officially starts next week, so more info on that on the way. Lots of fun things on the horizon 😉

My efforts this year will be focused on coaching clients and program participants, my Revenue Rx clients as I help them create profitable and freedom-based businesses, and of course, creating content on the podcast, Instagram and blog/Substack.

In full transparency, the blog had some highs and some… lows. When I started the year, ad revenue was crushing. I saw some numbers that I hadn’t seen since the boom of blogging. When we were in Spain, my advertising revenue was the best it had been in years. (Which confirms my thought that we should indeed move to Spain.) Well, this fall everything collapsed and has yet to recover, and I doubt it will.

With constant Google updates and AI searches, there’s really no need for people to click on blog posts to get information anymore. Search was a huge referrer for me, and now it’s terrible. Advertising revenues are now about a quarter of what they normally are at this time of year… and it’s pricey to keep a blog alive with all the associated costs.

The good news is that I have multiple income streams – which is why you can’t put all your income in one basket – but the devastating news is that I think a lot of bloggers will switch this year. I started a substack which reminds me of the old days of blogging; no ads, no writing for The Man (aka Google search) and it’s just casual and fun. I will of course still post here, but if you like to follow along there, I’d love to see you!!

Personal and health goals:

My health goal is to continue working on the habits that make me feel my best quarterly detoxessmart supplements, restorative practices, diet choices, walks, workouts (I like a mix of strength training, barre, spin, Pilates and hot yoga) and stress management. My goal is to minimize toxins where I can, replenish deficiencies, and continue to use functional lab testing as a great tool. I am proud of myself for taking charge of my health and identifying the cause of what I was experiencing, and also for being able to share everything I learned along the way.

I feel like I can step up my workouts again, and maybe even set some fitness goals for the new year 😉 I’m planning our summer vacation (Tokyo and Seoul! Message me if you have any tips!) and just want to get back to some of the things I let go of while trying to navigate teaching and homeschooling (like reading instead of doomscrolling, meditating, getting my High Performance Health and IHP Level 3 certifications, and more time with friends).

Continue to be the best mother, wife and friend I can be. I want the people in my life to know how much I love them, and that I lead every day with a grateful, patient, and loving heart. Some days are harder than others lol, but a gratitude check in the morning really impacts how I feel the rest of the day.

I’d love to hear about your year and your goals! What are you proud of from the past year, what are you currently working on? Do you have health goals? Travel plans? I want to hear it all!

I wish you a happy, healthy, joyful and abundant 2026.
