The tournament brings together PGA Tour And LPGA Tour in mixed pairs teams, and is now in its third edition after the first edition in 2023.
The inaugural Grant Thornton Invitational was won by Jason Day and Lydia Ko at Tiburon Golf Club in Naples, Floridawhile Jake Knapp and Patty Tavatanakit were crowned champions last year in 2024.
The team tournament is played in mixed pairs, with the first round played in the Scramble format, the second round in the Modified Alternate Shot format and the third round in the Modified Four-Ball format.

Grant Thornton Invitational format and schedule
The Grant Thornton Invitational is played over three rounds at the Tiburon Golf Club in Naples, Florida.
The format is a mixed-pairs event, with the first round being played as a Scramble format, the second round a Modified Alternate Shot format and round three a Modified Four-Ball format.

- Day 2 – Saturday December 13th
- Day 3 – Sunday December 14th
The Grant Thornton Invitational prize money is $4 million, with $1 million going to the winners.
