Aston Villa closes a deal to sign Harvey Elliott from Liverpool before the transferline of the transfer.

The two teams go into discussions about a loan agreement for Elliott with the obligation to make the move permanent. Elliott wanted to explore his options this summer, after struggling for regular first team football under Arne Slot.
