Live updates: Raiders vs Dragons
8 ‘Damien Cooks offside
The dragons manage to get the ball after SU’a got himself in the right place at the right time.
But Cook was in 10 and it is a penalty.
6 ‘Raiders force the goal line to fall
Kyle Flanagan diffused that staircase about – desperately sloppy.
It is a drop of the goal line – that is not 10 from Gutherson.
5 ‘One-on-one strip!
Great work by Tom Starling to choose the bag of Damien Cook!
The Raiders are on the attack.
5 ‘Penalty Dragons
Morgan Smithies just left his hands in the ruck there.
5 ‘Corey Horsburgh as a gigantic red -haired bullet!
My God!
Corey Horsburgh Sprint on an agile wheel in the goal and, if he can be believed, he has been dotted!
However, it seems that it is bounced in real time – and he did.
1 ‘We are going on in Canberra!
Viking Clap Complete – what a great atmosphere in the capital – and the dragons start in their All -Red, the Raiders give it back in their all -green shirts and white shorts.
A nice easy one for the color blind among us.
No telephone, no distractions for the Raiders

The Raiders are currently nicely at the top of the NRL Ladder, because they have aimed at a first small premiership since 1990.
There are a few things that have changed every 35 years since this year and that, but one thing has remained the same. No telephones.
Canberra Halfback Jamal Fogarty said ABC Sport yesterday that the connection of the team comes down to more quality time together.
“One thing we talked about all season was that if you were on your mobile phone during training, you couldn’t leave the dressing room,” Fogarty said.
“So if you wanted to be on your phone, you had to be with your safe. If you were in the kitchen, if you don’t have your phone, you have to eat your lunch, you have to socialize, you have to communicate with each other.
“You get treatment, it’s the same, it is the same in the gym.
“To be honest, that was the big difference this season and just went gathering our group.”
Fogarty also credit team trips to Las Vegas, Darwin, Gold Coast and Brisbane as time spent traveling to connect the field and in turn successful on the field.
“It is strange to think, how can a team become more connected by simply not being on your phones, but that is probably the only difference we have made.”

Rugby League, which brings people together
Evening Simon. Old timer you live the dream, albeit an icy. Have a cheese toastie and a hot chocolate milk and browse online online in your way. If you can now arrange a local NRL team, I might be with you one day before that coffee.

Ricky Stuart praises ‘Adult’ Corey Horsburgh
A person who was not summoned, even though he suggested that he should be, was Corey Horsburgh.
Ricky Stuart has just told Fox Sports that Horsburgh has handled that control and disappointment very well.
“His maturity in the past six to eight months is fantastic,” says Stuart.
“And when I say maturity … just make better choices.
“He is physically the best I have seen him.
“He used it [not being called up] Great.
“He knows that he is ready to go if Queensland ever needs him.”
Stuart says that the Raiders are happy to be at the top of the ladder, but cannot rest from their laurels.
“Yes, it’s a good position to be in,” he says.
“It’s hard to work here, work hard to maintain and we have to keep doing all the little things.”
Josh Papali’i enjoys the memory of Maroons’ State of Origin
The Raiders are favorites on their way to the match of this evening, but they will be without Josh Papali’i, who will play his first State of Origin match since 2022.
Papali’i was convinced to get out of representative pension by Maroons coach Billy Slater.
Safe to say, the 23-time veteran was ready for a final ride.

The Raiders are here
That’s good, kicking off is only 20 minutes away …
Raiders too strong for dragons?
Hello Simon. Although the 2025 season seems to have had a disproportionate number of disturbances and large comebacks, I think Raiders will be too strong for the dragons at home.
– Mike
I tend to agree, Mike.
The Raiders should be too good tonight.
But games were not won on paper, just written.
Injury hit dragons for ‘bit of a test’
Shane Flanagan now speaks on FOX Sports.
He says that the injury situation is not ideal for his part.
“It’s a bit of a test, I think we only have one player left in our top 30,” he says.
“We give the chance to some of these guys who play well in a spare figure
“It is not ideal, but it is exactly what we have to do.”
What happened in the NRL last night?
This NRL season of comebacks supplied another Belter of a collision when the Brisbane Broncos came from 18-0 to anesthetize the Bulldogs 22-18.
The Broncos scored all their points in a brilliant burst in the last 20 minutes while the Bulldogs imploded completely on their own.
Read all about it …
Sounds ideal …
Arvo/Evening Simon. Tonight it is a grated pan-roasted chicken and cheese (Comte & Pecorino) Frittata served with a particularly good 2021 Coonawarra Cab-SAV. You can have it cold or heated, but more likely the cold is flown in from tassie. (Feels about 5 degrees here.) Followed by the strongest coffee you can imagine – if we stay awake when necessary – unlike last night. Now take orders KB, Natty & Mike.
– Old Timer
We have a pretty full evening of entertainment at ABC Sport tonight, Old Timer, with Afl, NRL and Matildas on Now, Rugby Union and the cricket later.
So that sounds nice.
Register.

NRLW: Canberra and St George in a thoroughbred collision, with wild parties
Canberra organizes his first double header of the season – and they have a great game.
There are still 15 minutes left in the collision and it is the Raiders that lead 14-18.
Players all do different parties for charity this round, hence the celebration of Zali Hopkins above.
However, it gets a bit out of hand, with Raiders the most recent try-scorer Sophie Holyman goes on hands and feet and lets a teammate pretend to be milking her. Holyman grew up on a dairy farm, but I think that might be so good for the crazy parties for me …
