Kooyonga Golf Club has been announced as the new host of LIV Golf Adelaide from 2027.
ADelaide, on: (October 10, 2025): Golf club has been selected to host the world-class LIV Golf Adelaide event in 2027, for the next iconic phase of LIV Golf’s record-breaking flagship event where sport, culture and entertainment converge.
Ranked in Australia’s Top 20 golf courses, Kooyonga’s perfectly conditioned course offers the sport’s first truly global golf competition a new opportunity and stage to create unforgettable experiences for players and fans.
Set in undulating sandhills, the championship golf course is just 15 minutes from Adelaide’s central business district and has a rich history of hosting major golf events.
“LIV Golf Adelaide has been an economic success for our state, delivering more than $217 million in economic benefits in its first three years and helping to cement South Australia as a national and global destination for major events,” said Peter Malinauskas, Premier of South Australia.
“Securing Kooyonga Golf Club as the next host venue continues that momentum, bringing visitors, jobs and investment into our economy, while showcasing Adelaide to viewers across Australia and the rest of the world.”
Following continued success at The Grange Golf Club, League representatives wanted to thank the club committee and members for providing LIV Golf with a home in Australia since its inception in 2023, and they look forward to the 2026 edition, to be played from February 13 to 15.
The partnership with Kooyonga Golf Club offers fans a unique event opportunity before moving to the redeveloped North Adelaide Golf Course.
The current contract extension announced on the final day of LIV Golf Adelaide earlier this year sees Adelaide as the exclusive home of LIV Golf in Australia until 2031, with Kooyonga Golf Club now playing a crucial role in this exciting partnership.
LIV Golf will continue to work with all stakeholders on the logistics of hosting world-class competitions and world-renowned entertainment acts at this new venue, with final course plans to be unveiled at a later date.
