San Diego – Disney’s cast “Lilo & Stitch “felt the fan love at San Diego Comic-Con.
Maia Kealoha, Tia Carrere and Sydney Elizebeth Agudong spoke with the red carpet from the “Lilo & Stitch “Block Party Pop-Up, where fans could take photos, enjoy treats and the beloved animated Live-Action Blockbuster can celebrate.
“It just feels so great,” said Maia Kealoha, who plays the leading role as Lilo in the live-action remake. “It brings Ohanas to the cinemas to watch other films and also watch our movie,” she said. “We couldn’t have done it without their support.”
Tia Carrere, who appeared in the original animated classic and now returns to the live-action adjustment, shared her excitement about the impact of the film.
“Yes, our little blue friend is a billionaire,” she said laughing, referring to the film that hit his billion dollars worldwide cash register milestone.
Agudong, who takes on the role of Nani, was also grateful for the support. “This is Rad. And all the support here to see-this you!” She said to fans.
“It is something to celebrate, that these stories continue and that a different generation can enjoy it,” Carrere added. “I think it’s great that I can leave my fingerprints on the first Nani and contribute to the second Nani.”
