VENTURA, California – The Legacy Fighting Alliance returns to the California coast on Thursday, February 26 with LFA 227: Birth vs. Kamikubolive from the Ventura County Fairgrounds in Ventura, California.
Headlining the card is a compelling bantamweight clash between longtime LFA standout Rafael “Mulisha” do Nascimento and Japanese veteran Shuya Kamikubo. Both athletes bring extensive experience and finishing skills to what promises to be a high-level main event match with divisional implications.
LFA 227, presented by Monster Energy, airs LIVE in the United States on VICE TV starting at 9:00 PM ET / 6:00 PM PT. Veteran MMA broadcaster Ron Kruck will handle play-by-play duties alongside former UFC lightweight title challenger Gilbert “El Niño” Melendez, providing expert analysis.
The bantamweight headliner pits two seasoned competitors against each other in what many consider a pivotal fight in the 135-pound division. Kamikubo, known for his technical wrestling and composure under pressure, faces Nascimento, a proven LFA veteran known for his well-rounded attack and durability.
